S-a constituit la Sibiu pe 30 aprilie 2002. In aceasi data a fost adoptat statutul clubului si au fost alese organele de administratie.

In urma alegerilor din Adunarea Generala a Dobermann Club Romania din data de 26 noiembrie 2005 noul Consiliu Director al DCR este format din:
